DETAILED DESCRIPTION 

Amanda Johnson & Company is a local South African textbook supplier and bookseller, marketing school textbooks and related educational products and resources.

SUPPLY & DELIVERY POLICY

Please note: Response and delivery may be longer during the very busy BACK TO SCHOOL season from November to February. The supply of all goods from Amanda Johnson & Company is subject to availability from publishers / suppliers. Note that NOT ALL items listed on this site are continually held in stock. Should items you bought in our online store not be in stock, such items will be ordered from our supplier/s once your order has been placed, and payment has been received. Delivery dates will then be advised taking into consideration the longest delivery time, which will determine the most efficient delivery time of the entire order. Delivery times are subject to change. Special requests will be processed within 5 working days, subject to availability and receipt of payment. Delivery will be confirmed with you via email depending on method of delivery. Delivery of goods will be via COURIER. All packages delivered by courier will incur a delivery charge, the value of which will be determined by the weight of the parcel, or a set cost, depending on the nature of the order.

RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

In cases of delayed availability, Amanda Johnson & Company will fully refund the customer should the order be cancelled due to the delay. This refund will be in full within 30 days, if not sooner. Cancellation of orders by the client for reasons other than delayed availability will only be considered at the discretion of Amanda Johnson & Company after a written request by the customer has been submitted via email to info@amandajohnson.co.za. A handling fee of 10% of the order value will be charged, should your request for cancellation be confirmed. Incorrectly supplied books or any other return will only be considered for exchange/replacement if Amanda Johnson & Company is given notification of the problem within 7 working days of receiving the book, and the book is returned in mint condition. No returns will be accepted later than 21 days from the time the customer received the books.

Amanda Johnson & Company reserves the right to cancel any order / part of an order, without giving any reasons. In the event of this happening we will refund any money already paid in respect of that order, or part of that order.

CUSTOMER PRIVACY POLICY

Amanda Johnson & Company shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of customers. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payment for your purchase may be made via Visa or Master Card credit cards or by bank transfer into the bank account of Amanda Johnson & Company, the details of which will be provided on request. 

CREDIT CARD ACQUIRING & SECURITY

Credit card transactions will be acquired for Amanda Johnson & Company by Paygate who are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa. Comalytics uses SSL3, and all credit card information is stored per Visa and MasterCard guidelines on our website. Customers may visit www.comalytics.com to view their security certificate and security policy.

CUSTOMER DETAILS SEPARATE FROM CARDS

General customer details entered by the client on our secure website will be stored separately from credit card details by Amanda Johnson & Company. 

MERCHANT OUTLET COUNTRY & TRANSACTION CURRENCY

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is ZAR (South African Rand).

RESPONSIBILITY

Amanda Johnson & Company takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods on our website, customer services, customer support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

COUNTRY OF DOMICILE

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Amanda Johnson & Company chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, 22A Chapman Road, Klippoortje, Germiston, 1401.

VARIATION

Amanda Johnson & Company may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
